เคคेเคोเคญिเคฐाเคชूเคฐ्เคฏ เคเคเคค्เคธเคฎเค्เคฐं
เคญाเคธเคธ्เคคเคตोเค्เคฐाः เคช्เคฐเคคเคชเคจ्เคคि เคตिเคท्เคฃो ॥ เฅงเฅง.เฅฉเฅฆ ॥
“O Vishnu! With Your blazing mouths You are licking and devouring all the worlds from every side. Filling the entire universe with Your radiance, Your fierce rays are scorching everything.”
The Lord as Viลvarลซpa is both the Creator and the Destroyer.
The “blazing mouths” symbolize Time, which devours all beings without exception.
The “fierce radiance” signifies the inescapable power of cosmic law — birth, growth, decay, and dissolution.
Arjuna realizes that all warriors assembled in the battlefield are already consumed by the divine will.
Philosophically, this verse teaches:
The Supreme Reality is not limited to a gentle, comforting form.
It is also the inexorable principle of dissolution.
All names and forms (nฤma–rลซpa) arise in Brahman,Exist in Brahman,And are finally resolved back into Brahman.
The terrifying aspect is only from the standpoint of the ego. From the standpoint of Truth, it is merely the natural play of the Absolute.
In essence:
The Lord as Time consumes the universe, reminding us of impermanence and the supremacy of the Eternal.

That which is free from birth, growth, development, waste, disease and death; which is indestructible; which is the cause of the projection, maintenance and dissolution of the universe – that Brahman art thou, meditate on this in thy mind.
Brahman is:
Free from birth (เคเคจ्เคฎ)
Free from growth (เคตृเคฆ्เคงि)
Free from modification (เคชเคฐिเคฃเคคि)
Free from decline (เค
เคชเค्เคทเคฏ)
Free from disease and death (เคต्เคฏाเคงि, เคจाเคถ)
Immutable (เค
เคต्เคฏเคฏเคฎ्)
It is the unchanging cause behind the creation, sustenance, and dissolution of the universe, yet itself never undergoes any change.
The instruction “เคคเคค्เคค्เคตเคฎเคธि เคญाเคตเคฏाเคค्เคฎเคจि” means:
Contemplate within yourself — “That changeless Brahman am I.”
All the six modifications (เคทเคก्เคญाเคต-เคตिเคाเคฐ) belong only to the body and the world — not to the Self. You are not the perishable body.
You are the birthless, changeless, eternal Brahman.
Abide in this understanding.
