Just as many torrents of rivers rush swiftly towards the ocean,so too do these heroes of the human world enter into Your blazing mouths.
Rivers flowing to the ocean represent inevitability. The warriors entering the blazing mouths symbolize destiny and the unstoppable flow of Time. All beings, however mighty, ultimately merge into the Supreme.Individual heroism dissolves in the cosmic order.
This verse powerfully teaches that death and dissolution are part of the divine cosmic process, and no one can resist the movement of Time.
In short:
As rivers cannot avoid the ocean, beings cannot avoid the Divine Will.

That which is untouched by the sixfold wave; meditated upon by the Yogi’s heart, but not grasped by the sense-organs; which the Buddhi cannot know; and which is unimpeachable – that Brahman art thou, meditate on this in thy mind.
This verse declares the true nature of Brahman:
- It is untouched by the six waves (เคทเคกूเคฐ्เคฎि) — hunger, thirst, grief, delusion, old age, and death — which affect only the body and mind.
- It cannot be perceived by the sense organs.
- It cannot be grasped by the intellect (buddhi) as an object of knowledge.
- It is realized only in the purified heart of a Yogi through contemplation.
- It is flawless, changeless, ever-pure.
The teaching concludes with the Mahฤvฤkya spirit:
“เคคเคค्เคค्เคตเคฎเคธि” — Thou art That.
HAVE A BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL DAY
