เคฆंเคท्เค्เคฐाเคเคฐाเคฒाเคจि เคญเคฏाเคจเคाเคจि ।

เคธเคจ्เคฆृเคถ्เคฏเคจ्เคคे เคूเคฐ्เคฃिเคคैเคฐुเคค्เคคเคฎाเค्เคैः ॥ เฅงเฅง.เฅจเฅญ ॥
“They rush swiftly into Your mouths, terrible with fearful tusks.
Some are seen caught between Your teeth, their heads crushed to powder.”
Arjuna is witnessing the Viลvarลซpa (Cosmic Form) of ลrฤซ Kแนแนฃแนa. He sees all the warriors of both armies — including great heroes like Bhฤซแนฃma, Droแนa, Karแนa — rushing helplessly into the Lord’s blazing mouths.
This vision reveals Time (Kฤla) as the devourer of all beings.
The Inevitability of Time
All beings, however powerful, are moving inevitably toward dissolution. No one escapes Time.
Human Power is Illusory
Even the mightiest warriors are shown as powerless — crushed between the cosmic teeth. Ego and pride are meaningless before the Absolute.
Divine as Creator and Destroyer
God is not merely the benevolent protector; He is also the cosmic dissolver. Creation and destruction are two aspects of the same Reality.
Instrumentality (Nimitta Mฤtra)
Arjuna is being taught: You are not the doer. These warriors are already slain by Time. You are only an instrument.
Spiritual Awakening Through Shock
The terrifying imagery is meant to shatter Arjuna’s emotional attachment and awaken higher vision.
From the Advaitic standpoint:
The “devouring mouths” represent Kฤla (Time).
The “crushed heads” represent the destruction of ego (ahaแน
kฤra).
The rushing movement signifies the compulsive flow of karma.
The verse ultimately teaches:
All names and forms (nฤma–rลซpa) arise in Brahman and dissolve back into Brahman.
