Why Is Self-Realization Important for You?
The Vedas, Smแนtis, Itihฤsas, and the Upaniแนฃads unanimously declare that Self-Knowledge alone is the means to Liberation (Mokแนฃa), which ensures cessation of complete sorrow and attainment of Supreme Bliss.
Vedavyฤsa affirms in the Brahma Sลซtras that Self-Knowledge alone leads to Liberation, for that alone is the ultimate purport of the Vedas.
The Upaniแนฃads proclaim:
“Self-Knowledge is the highest of all knowledge, the supreme science, for through it one attains immortality.”
“If one does not know the Self here, a great destruction awaits him.
Man attains the fulfillment of all desires through Self-Knowledge—and by no other means.
เคเคค्เคฎเคตिเคฆ् เคเคช्เคจोเคคि เคชเคฐเคฎ्
The knower of the Self attains the Highest, attaining which everything is attained.
เคคเคฐเคคि เคถोเคเคฎ् เคเคค्เคฎเคตिเคฆ्
The knower of the Self becomes free from all sorrow and suffering.
เคฌ्เคฐเคน्เคฎเคตिเคฆ् เคฌ्เคฐเคน्เคฎैเคต เคญเคตเคคि
The knower of Brahman becomes Brahman itself.
To know God is to become God.
Self-Realization alone ends all sorrow, suffering, pain, and limitation.
It fulfills every legitimate aspiration, dissolves fear, and reveals unconditional love and infinite bliss, by making you recognize your true nature as the immortal, non-dual Self—omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient Consciousness.
Your longing for eternal love, beauty, and bliss is itself proof that such fulfillment exists.
Only change the direction of your search—from the external to the internal—and you will discover that it has always been present as the witnessing Self, pure Consciousness itself.
