๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ต Educational Workshop Organised for Orphaned and Underprivileged Children
With the message that moral education is the finest means of illuminating human life, the Eighth Educational Support Workshop was successfully organised at Kalyan Ashram in Baunshara village of Sambalpur district for children from orphaned and economically poor families. Five girl students participated in today’s programme.
The primary objective of the workshop was to motivate children to pursue regular studies and, in particular, to create awareness among mothers to take an active role in the moral education of their children.
Today’s children are the architects of tomorrow’s society; therefore, it is everyone’s responsibility to educate them and instil good values in them. As part of the workshop, discussion was held on the story of Nachiketa, general knowledge and scientific subjects, along with a question–answer programme on various topics.
The programme was attended by the
Eminent educationist Shri Rajendra Panda, Dr Sudhanshu pati Ex Director, Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela,Ashram’s President Shri Rahas Panda, and the organiser of the programme Er. Bibhuti Narayan Majhi.
Sri Sitaram Sadangi and Daya Sagar Badi extended their cooperation.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem and the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, followed by the distribution of prasad.
