You are the imperishable (Akแนฃara), the supreme Reality to be known. You are the ultimate refuge and foundation of this entire universe. You are unchanging, the protector of the eternal dharma. You are Sanฤtana, the primordial Puruแนฃa—this is my firm conviction.
Krishna is not merely a cosmic form but Brahman itself—the ultimate object of knowledge, beyond name and form.
The universe rests in Him as effects rest in their cause; He is the substratum (adhiแนฃแนญhฤna) of all appearances.
Though appearing as dynamic creation, He remains unchanged, upholding the cosmic and moral order.
Beyond time and individuality—He is the eternal Conscious Principle, not a person limited by body or history.
Arjuna recognizes that the terrifying and magnificent Viลvarลซpa ultimately points to the formless, eternal Brahman, the sole Reality worth knowing.

“This—not this”: since it is imagined (kalpita), it is not real.Like a snake falsely seen in a rope, or like a dream, thus, by right reasoning, negating the seen (dแนลya),one should thereafter know That One Reality which is the common essence of both (seer and seen).
Systematic negation of all that is objectifiable, because whatever is perceived is dependent and transient. The world’s reality is superimposed, not absolute—just as the snake is superimposed on the rope, or forms arise in dream.Through sound reasoning grounded in ลruti, the entire dแนลya-prapaรฑca is sublated—not destroyed, but recognized as mithyฤ.What remains after negation is non-dual Consciousness (Brahman)—the one essence underlying both seer (dแนk) and seen (dแนลya).
By negating the imagined world through disciplined inquiry, one recognizes the one, non-dual Reality that alone truly is.
HAVE A BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL DAY
