With the objective of supporting ten fatherless children from Baunsara village in Sambalpur district, a meaningful and compassionate initiative has been undertaken. An educational workshop is organised every month, on the last Sunday, at Kalyan Ashram, Baunsara, under the guidance of noted educationist Sri Rajendra Panda. The initiative is further strengthened by the valuable support and cooperation of Prof. Sachindra Mishra, Sri Dipak Pujari, and several other well-wishers.
The children, accompanied by their mothers, actively participate in these workshops, which focus on moral and ethical values, personal hygiene, character building, and overall personality development. In addition, they are provided with essential educational support, including study materials, school bags, uniforms, payment of school fees, and other necessities.
So far, six workshops have been successfully conducted, and the outcomes have been highly encouraging. A noticeable improvement in the children’s behaviour, discipline, and learning aptitude has been observed.
Eminent personalities from diverse fields including the Trustees, regularly participate in these sessions, motivating the children to pursue education with sincerity, adopt disciplined lifestyles, and grow into responsible and conscientious citizens, often sharing inspiring examples from their own lives.
